We are located at 190 Pond Road, right across the street from CVU High School's athletic fields.

God calls us to share what we have and that includes our church building and grounds. We are blessed to share our space with our community in a variety of ways:

  • Growing Together Community Gardens (GTCG)
Hinesburg's GTCG are located in the sunny, northeast area of the CAC campus. The GTCG program is a collaboration among Community Alliance Church, the Garden's Coordination Team and the UVM Extension's Master Gardener Program.
Ideas for the project began in 2008, when a team from CAC returned home from a mission trip to Louisiana, where volunteers served following Hurricane Katrina. Impressed by the commitment to rebuild communities in the New Orleans area, the mission group returned home inspired to make a difference in their own community. In 2010, the first 16 gardeners from Hinesburg partnered with volunteers from CAC to begin preparing the first beds.
    Now 40 beds large,
the mission of the GTCG is as follows: to provide and maintain the Growing Together Community Garden space with and for local residents who want to grow their own carefully tended, organic vegetables and flowers for friends, family and neighbors. For information on renting a plot in the gardens, please contact Kristy McLeod, one of the garden's co-coordinators, at 802-482-3372 or at  .

  • CVU Student Parking
Junior and sophomore students attending CVU may reserve a parking spot in our front lot for the duration of the school year. A one-time fee is collected for each year, and these fees help support the work of the Hinesburg Food Shelf. For information on how to reserve a spot, please reach out to our Communications & Technology Director, Connor Durochia.

  • First Roots, Hinesburg
In 2021, our neighbors at Wild Roots, First Roots began utilizing some of our church's space to house the Hinesburg location of their newest program, First Roots. This program offers quality, early childcare education using a nature-based curriculum, for children ages birth to 2yrs. For more information about First Roots Hinesburg, please contact director Ella Downey.

  • Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
A number of local AA groups meet in our space at various times of the week. For information about local meetings, please visit the Alcoholics Anonymous site for Vermont.

  • Community Gatherings
Our space is often available for gatherings such as weddings, funerals, recitals, one-time events and recurring gatherings. For more information, please contact the church directly.
